Ferrari 488 Pista Pack 2019 from BZ SimWorks

  1. Please, read the mod info and instructions: We're going to call this version "1.0" as release version, despite I've redone and improved many things since the car was "ready":

  2. 3D model from CSR2:

  3. Huge edition and some improvements was needed due to the model state (all the things atacthed in one objetc and using a non 3dmax native smoothing type, the reason why you can see broken surfaces in other Pista mods). Spyder version was adapted to the coupe 3d model. You won't notice anything wrong about that. All fits milimetrically. Tuned version has some new 3d scratch made elements for the "aero kit". All versions have new 3d elements, mostly from scratch, and others adapted from Kunos 488 GTB (like the cockpit buttons and dashboard's main elements). Seatbelts, all the logos and badges, and other details like some seat elements, lights extra elements, engine corrections, etc, are new. To inprove the car look or because there aren't present in the original model. Textures are not from the original model (at least mostly), many of them are new, and other from kunos.

  4. Visual details:

  5. Huge color set selection, including Piloti and Niki Lauda (this one made by Ale CA) special skins. Almost all of them are real Ferrari colors and actual combinations. HQ textures and shaders. In general, the visuals have been revised and tweaked infinite times (Ks editor was burning...XD)

  6. Physics:

  7. Starting from 488GTB base, almost all parameters have been remade or tweaked to replicate the real performance of the cars on the track and in straight line. The grip of this car is insane, but I managed to make it very playfull and a bit hard on the edge (only a bit). The general behavior and specially on slides have been tweaked carefully to replicate the real experience described by all the existent test of this car. If you know a bit how to go sideways, this car is a good drifting machine, but with a very precise handle on track. This car is a "power lap" machine. Should be similar or marginally faster than 991GT2RS, if one of the existent AC mods of that car are accurate.

  8. Sound:

  9. Timo Ha has made a very good joob here. The base sound feels similar to the Kunos' 488GTB which is very nice, but adding some extra layers and details to give it a deeper sonority, specially for the exhaust sounds.

  11. Custom Shaders Patch (CSP):

  12. Huge extra config file, with almost all the customizable options tweaked. Full set of extra lights for all the light points in the car to simulate the light dispersion. Tweaked effects for all the things. Car's colors also have been imporoved with the "car paint shader" option, to make them deeper and shinier. Dark colors looks so good, and whites, yellow ones, and bright colors in general looks better, softer and more detailed in clear conditions (sunny weathers).

  13. Extra controls: Extra light A are the leds daylights. Extra light B is the cockpit top light. Extra light C are the windows animations (for spyder). Extra light D is the foolding roof animation. Configure those buttons if you don't have it yet.

  14. Compatibility:

  15. Cars are working without CSP and Ferrari DLC. But if you don't have CSP installed, do it!

  16. IMPORTANT: The cars are ready (and specially tweaked) for CSP 0.1.46 and SOL 1.4.2 (using “Sol_” ppfilter). There are many customized things here, and probably you will get some weird effects with future updates of CSP or SOL. If you see something strange in the next weeks you can just rename or delete the "extension" folder in the cars. You will lose all the customized things related to the lights and other effects, but the autogenerated config at least works allways good (not detailed thing, but works). Ilja will try to launch recomended versions of the CSP more regulary, so we'll be able to keep the cars configs working well for those versions. Because it's impossible to keep the cars updated with each change or new features.

  17. Future updates: Revised sound with a blow off samples specially for the tuned version (Timo Ha). Updates for CSP. Maybe lods. Notes: You can experience sound issues with many cars on the track, depending on your hardware settup and game options. That’s because of the number of samples present in the sound.
